583 Wyndham Road

A tall, compact and handsome
variation on English cottage style country houses of the 1920s. The steeply
sloping roof extends to a low eave on each side of the building, creating a
large symmetry which is broken by the two gabled elements on the front facade.
An unusual and somewhat unbalanced composition occurs at the front door, framed
by a brick gabled projection and an off-center chimney mass.
